Recently EE have introduced to their customers, a free charge bar.
Basically within a tube is a fully charged bar and short connecting cable. The idea they throw out, is that it is for those occassions when your phone runs out and this will re-charge it. When it has been used, you have two choices, either re-charge it yourself when possible, or take it into any EE store to swap for a fully charged one. They say it is a free hire for life scheme. (we will have to see about that). If you loose it, they will offer a new one.
It is my understanding that they fit every mobile with one exception, If you have an iphone, then you have to pay for the connecting lead.
So, how do you get one?. Text "power" without the inverted commas to 365. The call will cost 35p. You then get a reply email with code which you show to store who then register it.
The power bar doubles up as a torch also. It is 4" long and an inch thick (ha ha).

It's already been discussed here a few times and MSE has posted articles about it: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/phones/2015/04/ee-customer-get-free-20-portable-mobile-chargers-from-thursday.
I've got mine. Very useful.
No idea if EE is still offering them.
