Thanks to the Parking Prankster for this:-

As we all know that PPCs never lie, then we must believe this statement (backed up by the BPA) that a very selective vandal has gone round this car-park removing all the stickers that had covered up references to clamping.

I have to admit to being tempted at removing the stickers G24 put on all their signs at a local car park correcting the discount price ( after someone had the audacity to point out it wasn't the required 40% to the BPA
) but I just haven't got round to it.
Shows what a pathetic scamming industry PPCs operate when they just use stickers to cover up lies rather than go to the bother of being professional and re-doing the sign properly."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
Heaven forbid if they even scooped as low as using permanent marker pen to scribble out/amend their signsFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Pranky on a real roll yesterday, with no fewer than 6 substantial articles.

Good stuff Mr P!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You would have thought that the BPA rep would have just taken a couple of minutes to think about this unlikely scenario offered by CP Plus. They should have used some common sense and asked the same questions posed on here and Pranky's post. Instead they just took the PPCs explanation at face value and believed them. And you wonder why the BPA is such a laughing stock. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

If they ever do catch the vandal, would you mind forwarding me his or her details. I've got a few little jobs around the house, he looks like a neat worker.Illegitimi non carborundum:)0

Going back to the BPA's very strange decision. If it was me who reviewed the "evidence" I would probably conclude there were two explanations to what happened. Either the "vandal" did go round the car park with a ladder and a bottle of cleaning fluid, or the stickers were never there in the first place. What would most sensible people choose?
Of course the BPA don't do sensible. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Wonder if the vandal has removed stickers covering up references to clamping on signs in other car parks [STRIKE]mis[/STRIKE]managed by CP+ :think:0
