Anybody had any contact from PRAGROUP from the raft of Barclaycard defaults that happened in July? Not had a single letter myself and thought I would have by now. Still no default on my file either? I guess the cogs are not that fast with this one.0

No, still no contact from the PRA Group here either. I am waiting til it gets transferred to CCA the accounts. One was opened in 1986, and i think the other was a GE Capital card that was sold to BC. I think that one was opened in 1997. I sometimes think we must have paid enough interest to keep the Titanic afloat!Used to be LivingInDreamLand

So first DMP payment went out on 1st of this month to SC. Excited to be starting this journey and looking forward to being debt free even if it is a long way away!!
Creation Finance have said no to 0% interest - what can I do (if anything) about this?
Haven't heard back from a lot of the creditors so I guess they have just accepted the plan?!Lightbulb Moment: 18/01/2015 :jCurrent Debt: 31,869.62 :eek:DMP Start Date: 01/09/2015DFD: TBC but sooner rather than later, I hope! :beer:0 -

Hi,
Creation refused to reduce or stop interest so I took them to the FOS and got it reduced from £30ish a month interest and I was only paying £33 to £10ish a month. They have kept it at this rate after my review but FOS said if they raised it again I could complain again.

Hi bb,
No plans to upset my applecart at the moment! Other than creation the only interest I am paying is to BC, and now we have been sold I believe this should cease. I have however complained to natsvest about not defaulting 1 of my 3 debts with them and I received a text today saying they are investigating and will write to me....

Well I have done it, Ive cancelled my payplan DMP and im going self managed. I rang all my creditors and they were briliant (phew big weight of my mind) except for capital one who have said they need proof of my income and my bank statement. I don't think they have to have that do they? as long as I fill in their income and expenditure form
I dont want to hand over my wageslips as ive had a bit of overtime that ive managed to pay off a few small debts with now im self managed....LBM 18/10/2013

Puzz,
If you are being a feisty Puzz, making complaints and taking people to the FOS you are effectively self-managing anyway because that's what I do.
Everything must be what you are comfortable with though......we all went through a major trauma and probably had a horrible period of self doubt which for me lingers a little so it's different strokes for different Puzzies I suppose :rotfl:!!
As time goes on Puzz it may be woth thinking about SM....self management that is!!
