I didn't send my paperwork back until I was ready to start, also remember that your debts will increase pre start of dmp so you will need accurate figures from your statements for your paperwork when you are ready to start with sc paying the dmp.

Thanks. I'm just worried using the excuse of sorting with SC won't last until then.DMP Started June 20160 -

I've been all over the SC website and my account pages and can't find anywhere that shows the recommended/maximum allowances for specific areas of a budget. I remember when I drew up my first one the woman who was working it out with me on the phone said my budgeted amounts in some catagories didn't seem high enough and more would be accepted if necessary.
Does anyone know if such a list exists either on SC's website or anywhere else please? I'd like to be better prepared by knowing the limits before I negotiate my next budget review;).
As always, thanks a million:beer:
Hi,
These are the recommended allowences for the purpose of an IVA/Bankrupcy so you can use this as a guide for your DMP :

When i did my annual budget review I clicked on the My Review tab on the left side of the screen once you log into your DMP online account.
It then brings up all the different sections when you do your review. When I entered the amounts if I put in an amount that exceeded the maximum limit it came up in red by the box.
I managed to 'manipulate' my figures by going back and adjusting the figures to give a manageable monthly direct debit. I would always complete my review online and you can keep going back and amending the figures before you submit your final income and expenditure review.
I have looked on the SC website too and can't see any figures on there - does it come up if you were to complete another debtremedy tool?
Sorry I have not been of much help!!! Does you original paperwork have a copy of your income and expenditure form that you submitted when you set up your DMP? You could use that and write your figures dowm and work it all out manually before completing anything online.
Sorry - I feel I have just waffled and not really helped!!!!
Hopefully someone will come back with a much better response!!

Thanks very much BDFSH:T. Don't worry, you have helped:). When I tried the online review completion last year nothing came up in red so I was obviously below the limits. Maybe I've a lot of wriggle room so I'll have a play with it and jiggle the figures a bit as you suggested:beer:0 -

That's really useful information:j0 -
Evening everyone,
We have received 2 responses today from the 6 letters we sent regarding full and final settlement payments. PRA Group have sent a letter which says that before they are able to discuss a settlement figure they are required to ensure this is affordable and sustainable for us. They have included a income and expenditure form and asked us to return it within 30 days. it is blank, so guess it is their generic form it does ask us to list all our creditors including PRA, Balance owed and monthly payment, they should already have the SC budget plan, so not sure why they need us to fill in another form. Has anyone had this from PRA, any suggestions around what to do next?
The other one is from Tesco Credit Card, it also has included a Financial Statement which is more basic but also asks for information on all creditors. The letter asks for the following information:
*A list of all creditors, with total outstanding balances you owe each one. if this includes any loans, please let us know if they are secured or unsecured. Please enclose a copy of any documentation from creditors who have agreed to accept reduced payments.
I am not comfortable passing such details which would include account numbers to them.
* Offer of repayment
Been a year and they have been getting payments from SC, makes me think this is a generic letter?
* Contact telephone numbers
They have them.
Last part of the letter states that if they do not receive my Financial Statement with offer of payment and my account remains in arrears it will be defaulted, yet is has been defaulted since March 2015. it just seems they have not even read the letter we sent.Any advice on how to proceed with these would be great as we are just not sure what to do next.Thanks0 -

Just saw your post, you mention H***fax, they refused our offer out right saying it was going to the recovery team. Which from what I understand is not unusual while still with the original creditor.0 -

Well i did 3 months token payments with no trouble, 6 months is a long time so no idea what action creditors may take. Personally I think this is too long to get sorted but it is up to you.

Only action creditors will take is to sell on any debts that haven't been paid for 6 months or more.
It's then up to the DCA to make the next move, sometimes they sit on accounts for years, and nothing happens, other times there straight on it, no consistency whatsoever in this game !!!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I suspect you might get some sort of communications letter/phone calls/ threats of defaults (how I laugh at this now), after a couple of months. Certainly first 2 or 3 won't be a problem.
You might have to be a bit creative after that, I can't think how but be be brave and go for tokens now and figure it out later:eek:Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.
