Hi, I believe I read somewhere about there being a way of claiming back interest paid on loans or credit cards if you were disabled but I'm not sure if it was relevant in this country or if it applied to elsewhere. Can anyone help?

No, sorry, I believe you are mistaken.
If you borrowed on loans or credit cards, interest is not repayable to anyone, disabled or not.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

According to the gov.uk website
If you’re a homeowner getting certain income related benefits you might be able to get help towards interest payments on:- your mortgage
- loans you’ve taken out for certain repairs and improvements to your home
This includes income related ESA for the ill or disabled
