My leaflet says typical APR 16.9% but I too clear mine monthly (or will when 0% offer over) so may as well be 10000% :)

No, you send your details online, over the phone or via Sky Active and they send the application pack out.

Shows that the word typical doesn't mean a lot - I have been offered 15.76% and £3500 limit too. Friendly sounding sales woman! ;)

I've applied now but was surprised at how little they ask for on the form! Don't ask what you work at or anything too probing. I haven't filled in my work phone no. as I can only take urgent calls at work - I hope this doesn't cause any problems.

By coincidence I got an application card today but binned it as it stated that you can access your statement using the interactive services, meaning that telephone line would have to be reconnected to sky box and pay for the privelege using an 0870 number.
Not for me for that reason.

Eh? You ripped it up because it offers an extra service than other cards? I wouldn't want to pay to dial 0870 numbers for that purpose either but you don't have to!

Sorry,I didn`t ask as nothing to BT.
When I got the call from Sky,I was a bit suspicious at first since he was the only Sky person I`ve spoken to who wasn`t Scottish.Still expecting Sky to try to persuade me to re-join TV package.
Daughter says she will pay it from her EMA when she moves in next term.Maybe I`ll go 50-50 with her.

I am quite happy to conduct my credit card and banking online. It is inferred that you can only access statement with sky tv box (until monthly statement arrives) and when we first had sky installed we were having phantom phone calls done on the telephone which could only have been done by the sky box 'calling home'.
For this reason I will not upgrade sky box to sky+ because it is a condition that the box is connected to a phone line.
