So you drive in, the car park's full, so you drive out again. Then what?

Well if that really is the case then the bas***ds at the DVLA should not be supplying keeper details to the Smart Parking scum!

To expand on the shop analogy it's like walking into a shop, asking for something, being told it's not in stock, then having to pay anyway.

common problem at Fistral, particularly during the school hols, but circling isn't parking ! That's what the judge told me.... http://nebula.wsimg.com/c289944f81b4afb375a97d05d5a80df6?AccessKeyId=4CB8F2392A09CF228A46&disposition=0&alloworigin=1

  • I have a similar tale, having had the misfortune to park at fistral beach too. My problem is even more incredulous. The minimum charge is for one hour. I was on site for less than one hour (they have photographic evidence). I actually paid and displayed for one or two hours.

Smart Parking tell me I didn't pay at all. They dont have anything close to my registration number on their records. Absolutely scandalous. I told them to check out security cameras on the paying machines - I was told they dont have them...which I find surpising - they appear to have cameras all over.

From now on I'll be keeping all parking tickets rather than disposing of them at the first opportunity.

I guess I'll have to pay them to just to avoid all the threatning letters etc

    Nonsense.
    Absolute jokers this lot.
    Couldn't run a bath.

Follow the appeals process, dead easy. Their latest trick is to reject all appeals and issue Popla codes, in the hope people will fold and just pay up.
Stuffs them when people follow it through and they invariably fail to defend. Thus wasting £27

    What's not to like?
