            Hi all,
We are back from the sunshine.
Good:- The children were great on the plane and travel in both directions
 - Weather was fabulous
 - We only spent about £120 of our spending money but we were all-inclusive

Bad- Saw a unfavorable side to the close friends we went with
 - The food wasn't great
 - We are shattered
 - Back to work to tomorrow

I think we will use the remaining spending money on an OP and maybe some of the £1090 we have left from August. We haven't overpaid in a while. Although I should wait until IFA meeting. Lets see.. the temptation may get the better of me
We have reached the 2015 OP target of £15,0001.7.15: £157,469.64, 10.02.16: £93,434.74

Transferred £890 to mortgage plus the £160 (holiday spend savings) I did earlier that’s an op of £1050 for September
And we automatically op £154 each month
So grand op for sept is £1204
need to figure out what our balance is now1.7.15: £157,469.64, 10.02.16: £93,434.74

Hey Diamonds only, Let us know what you think of FC - I had a really high opinion of them from personal experiences but they have just changed from a bidding system of loan rates to a fixed rate approach so im not as certain anymore!0 -

Hi Khrisjun,
I just noticed that when I logged onto FC too. I did bid on two loans but I don't really know what I am doing or what I should be researching when when looking at the companies. Although I have only invested £20 per company I really should look more into what I am investing in. I think there are still some bidding loans but within a month everything will be fixed rate.
Perhaps its time to look at other peer to peer lenders? Ratesetter has come up a few times xx1.7.15: £157,469.64, 10.02.16: £93,434.74

I received a letter about FC changing to a more fixed system earlier this week. I haven't seen anything yet to make an opinion but we will see if they are more or less appealing when it gets going I expect. I like the bidding bit so Im not completely happy about it tbh.0

Ed and others have used Ratesetter which I'm going to look into next. Ask Ed for a referral if you like the idea of it.
Saying that FC is working for me do far so I'm going to stick with it for now reinvesting what I get back and see how it goes with the new system.0
