Thanks again for your quick response. I have now sent my email to the debt recovery of Miah solicitors so await a reply.

I am pretty willing to bet that the response you get will not answer any of the questions you raised (because they really, really don't want to admit to the fact that no, they have not charged their client £150 for sending this letter), and so you'll get a letter back full of bluster and evasion, but offering you the opportunity to pay a reduced sum - from scanning the forums, it seems that it'll be anything from £100-£200. If that happens, then remember you are under no obligation to pay that; just start a new thread with the details of your case so far, along with the response you have received, and everyone can help advise you on what to send back.

Why start a new thread? What is wrong with this one?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Done what you said and will now contact SRA
I have started a new thread as you said earlier

Does the registered keeper need to sign the letter I will send in the morning.
The registered keeper was not the driver on the day in question

Yes of course. It's all pointless though. You'll just get more stressed when you get the rejection letter intimidating you again. There is no appeal, this is fairly pointless so I hope you realise you won't get anywhere and are ready for the next letter.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
