I don't think they could make that stick could they? In these days of EU regulation and Block Exemption regs?
I do remember when I had my Subarus that the third year of the warranty was actually a "Dealer" warranty rather than a manufacturers warranty which was only the first 2 yrs
So no Full Main Dealer History and no 3rd year of the warranty.
I wonder if Kia do something similar for yrs 4, 5, 6 and 7?
In that the warranty is in fact a dealer warranty rather than a manufacturers warranty.0 -

If it's manufacturer warranty, the supply chain is irrelevant.
If it's UK importer/dealer warranty, the supply chain is very relevant.
But look at Vx's "lifetime" warranty for a non-transferrable warranty.
1st owner - 100k miles/10yrs
2nd owner, even if only changed hands pre-reg, 3yr.0 -
Thanks - I will just ask them to explain again and if they say the same thing, I will ask them to point it out in the documentation. There's no point in me having a warranty that starts in 4 years time!0

it will be a 1 year warranty from the date you collect it.
no more.
So if the Kia warranty is valid you will needlessly be paying for an aa one to run concurrently.
