Hi
There use to be a job phoning NHS patients about their appointments, wondering if anyone can remember who it was with. It was often mentioned on sure boom but they don't seem to exist anymore.
Thank you

What was the purpose of the calls?
Was it to remind patients about their appointments or ask them what they thought of the experience (either booking the appointment or attending)?
How long ago was this happening?0 -
I think it was reminding people of their appointments, started several years ago but have seen a post somewhere quite recently, just can't find it!0

Interesting. I thought that in recent years surgeries had been moving to using text messages or automatic computer-generated calls (perhaps via EMIS).0 -
Yeah, my Trust uses an automated system for this.Minimalist

They are now ERS Connect. They still exist as I have friends that still work for them (I worked for them a few years ago when they were still 360) The job title is ERS Connect Agent. Apply here http://www.ersconnect.co.uk/careers/
They have flexible 2 hours shifts from 1pm till 8pm. Min contract is 12 hours a week. I think they have also introduced an evenings only 6 hr a week shift. Pay is minimum wage.0 -
Thank you, I thought the hours were a bit funny, couldn't remember if they did mornings or not.0

No problem. Any questions feel free to ask as like I said I am still in contact with several employees. Its not the best paid work from home job out there, but it is very flexible and I liked the fact you could pick your hours and no travel/work clothes costs etc. Pity they don't do mornings though.0 -
