I am thinking about applying to ers connect and wondered if anyone knew if there were any technical requirements re pc, landline etc like there are with Sensee? There's not much information on the website.0

If you have a landline and a fairly up to date PC/Laptop you should be fine and somewhere quiet to work. Their requirements are not as stringent as Sensee. They supply a phone and headset. You need to plug in your phone next to your PC, but I just used an extension cable.0 -
Hi
I applied for ERS about 4 weeks ago and have a skype interview next week.
Does anyone on here work for them at the moment and do you enjoy it?
Thanks0 -

Thank you for the link, Catwoman1975.
Unfortunately, according to the 'blurb' you need contact centre experience which I don't have.
I have worked in offices but due to health problems have a short and limited C.V. Would there be any point in me applying for this, would you say?
Thanks.0 -

Customer service skills are the key thing they are looking for, dealing with the public. If you don't have this either, I would say that your chances of success are slim, but there is no harm in applying. Personally Leapforce (from your other post) is much better paid and a nicer job, so I would try that first.
Sensee are another company that also take on homeworkers handling calls, emails and live chat http://www.sensee.co.uk/Home-Agent/vacancies.aspx0
