I was wondering if you can buy a flavoured powder you can flavour water with. i am going on holiday soon to an all inclusive resort, and they mostly have plain water or fizzy drinks which i hate, i was wondering if there was a powder i could take with me to pop in my water to flavour it, or does this sound silly

You could just ask for a slice of fresh lemon and ice with the water. The lemon should flavour it a bit, assuming you like lemon.0

yes i like lemon, i suppose i was thinking of something i could put in to a bottle of water when out walking etc, its just that plain water makes me feel sick as i had to drink loads once for a hospital procedure and was ill at the time,0

You can buy Gatorade powder, Lemon and Lime is the nicest, I don't think you can get it in the shops here (in the UK), but you can get it through ebay0

cant you put some cordial in your case?
There is also kool aid powder in the US, if you search you should be able to get it from here through ebay or ex-pat sites.
I wonder if herbal tea bags work in cold water, seems like it would be similar potentially or does that sound disgusting?0 -

You could take one of those plastic squeezy lemon (I think it's Jif lemon) things in your case, they're fairly small, although I'd seal it in plastic bags in case it leaked. That way you could squirt it in your bottled water.
Though if there are shops where you are, they probably sell them there.0 -
You can get powders for flavouring water through a cambridge cousellor or off ebay. They re not cheap, around £6 for a small pot from a counsellor, but last for ages as you only have to use a tiny bit in a litre or so of water.
If looking on ebay search for cambridge drink - theres a summer berry one and also an orange one, both equally as nice IMOSometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0 -
a lot of health food shops sell "isotstar" (sp) in a tin which is the english form of gatorade powder. boots sometimes sell it and used to do their own version. at a pinch you could take blackcurrant dioralyte!!0

If you have a sweetshop anywhere near you which sells loose sweets in big jars, you may find they stock "lemonade" and "orangeade" crystals to dissolve in water, and you can but it by weight. A sweetshop near us does that - we used to buy the crystals when we were children and eat them by sticking a licked finger into the bag!:p But they are made to use for drinks.0

A lot of the Whittards powdered drinks e.g Turkish apple Tea, Dreamtime and instant mulled wine flavour drink can be made up cold and in the case of Turkish Apple tea among other are rather nice cold! When cycling, I pay the same road tax as any other zero carbon emission vehicle.0
