Social housing after the budget

i disagree, the exact figures cannot be known, who openly admits they claim fraudulently to the JC/HMRC.
I know so many people that cannot be bothered to work or just feel 'that it's not for them' and others that have blagged the doctors to claim benefits.
There is a woman who keeps her horse at the same livery yard as my OH who claims she is disabled and claims mobility etc as she cant work or get around and claims all sorts....she doesnt have an issue horse riding, mucking out, pushing a full wheel barrow around, lifting bales of hay/straw.....genuine claimant?
And it's probably just as common for people to work yet stll be claiming unemployment or sickness benefits. Which suggests that the problem isn't totally one of laziness!
People often lie or omit to tell the truth. Is fabricating the truth on a CV any better? It is deceiving employers who otherwise may not have employed the person. I would suggest that a huge number of people do this. Far more than claim benefits falsely (or more often - fail to inform the authorities of a change in circumstances.)0 -
it isn't all about having money when you retire.
even if you are going to pay for your own cre... you still need someone to provide that care!
all doctors/nurses/carers etc are someones child!
if no one had children, then there would be no one to provide services, regardless of how much you can afford to pay for them!
This brings up an important point!
One way or another we have to have young people, either born and bred here or imported from abroad (immigrants).
The right wing don't like either but which would they rather have since we have to have one or the other.0 -

The right wing aren't against more young people and in my experience right and left are generally very much in agreement about immigration. It's someone else's fault.0 -

I am not going into all the details of this - in principle in some rare circumstances - or perhaps not so rare if she can't do this most days - she may be entitled.
I do note that you are not required to tell the truth to people on the street, only the DWP.
Frequently, when explaining accurately my condition, I consider ending it.
I can't cope with the fact I am unlikely to ever work, or have a family, or have friends, and that my condition is not likely to improve, only having the infirmity of age to look forward to adding to my condition.
It can be a _hell_ of a lot easier to not explain that most days your legs are so sore that you can't walk, or you're so dizzy that you fall over or ... and just to imply that you're not that bad, but get benefit.
Because you really, really want it to be true.0 -

I can't find any documents for Scotland only England.
I thought that Scotland has been given the right to govern itself, setting Welfare as it sees fit.0
