Thanks again. Got a reply from Facebook, and to say I'm speechless is an understatement:
"Thank you for taking the time to report something that you feel may violate our Community Standards. Reports like yours are an important part of making Facebook a safe and welcoming environment. We reviewed the comment you reported and found it doesn't violate our Community Standards."

    Unbelievable.

The complaint was probably reviewed by a computer and it didn't find any key words.

It's really difficult to get someone at Facebook to actually read a comment - I don't think they really care.

Please try and forget the awful comment - it's just jealousy speaking, although in a bitter and twisted way.

Have a great time and enjoy your win !!

Aww Zackary I'm so sorry you've had to deal with this. Funnily enough I was having a whinge last night because I'd had to deal with some bitter comments made about my comping by people who should know better! It is jealousy, plain and simple. You've worked hard and put the effort in and you completely deserve this win - so go on your holiday, have an amazing time, and ignore the haters :)

Some people are just miserable and can't even find a little happiness in the joy of others. Have a lovely time! :)

You should have the option for them to look at it again. There was a very naughty :o video posted in a group which I reported and they firstly said it didn't violate. But they took it off the second time :D

But well done & ignore anyway :)
    Thanks to all posters :A

I really should be celebrating today. I won a judged holiday Competition with a humorous entry that clearly tickled the Judges fancy. Instead I'm reflecting on the most vile comment I've ever received in all my years Comping. A reply basically said..."Hope the plane crashes and you die screaming you absolute...." (you get the picture)
Comping's supposed to be fun: some you win & some you lose...and yes there's rivalry but this ? I've had a successful year, putting a lot of effort in and winning c. 1 win in every 20 entries. But sometimes, the jealousy and envy out there beggars belief.
    Rant over :(

thats disgusting! i cant begin to imagine what sort of person would think such a thing and then act on those thoughts so much that they message the person to inform them of their evil thoughts! absolutely unacceptable! they should be ashamed!

hope you have a fabulous holiday and are able to put their nasty comments behind you :)

That makes them as bad as the troll. Bullying/trolling like that is against the law. Don't let this one lie Zack.

I agree MaineBlue (as a fellow Blue myself) I did reply to FB asking them if they'd actually read the comment, and to reply quoting the text with a random unrelated word (eg. Banana) tagged on to the end. Watch this space.
