Hi, Time to finally stop lurking and post something on this well-informed and witty thread.

Got my first (and only) £4 Walkers voucher today. Hoping Booths or my local Asda don't treat it the way many on this thread have been.

I was planning to buy several small food items to reach the £4. Anyone aware this is any less acceptable than one "food item", as that's what the terms say.

    Hi
I've spent lots in A on little bits of food, as long as you have walkers aswell. I have 2 A's, one is fab and just scan em and the other complicates things by not knowing how to accept them :rotfl: Hth xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

pineapple, 400g plums, 4 doughnut peaches, 2corn on cob all £0.67 @ Asda instore and online
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/pineapple-400g-plums-4-doughnut-peaches-2corn-cob-0-67-asda-instore-online-2258971

:((:rotfl:). 400g Plums already been 67p for a number of weeks in M, so simply reduces the amount of APG - and therefore now makes it nearly useless as just contributes 6.7p to an APG - assuming they ever compared against M in the first place.

But many thanks for this - I'm looking at it in this weird way (as regards seeing it as a reduced APG):rotfl:.

Needless to say (therefore it was not!:D), do not put Corn on the Cob on an Avs M shop. £1 in M and may even compare against an even higher price as some older stock still in M yesterday. Of course, :(I suspect that's what the wombles will do - buy this seemingly good item (it may be, if bought separately) and just reduce the APG for us - only hope is that they miss it off:rotfl:.:D:)

Fancy bringing the price down on the Plums and reducing our APG:(:rotfl:.

EDIT: In fact, it's only gone down from 75p to 67p, so hardly that significant an APG 'loss'. (It makes no odds, as works out same 10% cheaper than 67p if it ever compared, although simply reflects the initial outlay to put back onto a new APG.) However, if you do not have an A nearby but have an M, then an alternative would be to buy the Plums at straight 67p in M (assuming your M also has them). Technically otherwise it could be 67p A vs 67p M but will it return as N/A anyway and not be much point (having to buy extra items etc.), otherwise could it :eek:pick up a much higher price for M and lose you money?
