Does anyone have the barcodes & description of the kitchen rolls that are glitching in A's. Yes, I've probably missed the boat already but thought the same on the T. Rolls but managed 9 packs of 9 yesterday.

Have to go get a CC in next 20mins & wondered if anyone could tell me the barcodes/description.

    Thanks

It's 2 pack jumbo kitchen rolls 50p, will go and barcode for you in a mo.

There was also a pack for 29p think a patterned twin pack but not sure as none left.

    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
Hi, Time to finally stop lurking and post something on this well-informed and witty thread.

Got my first (and only) £4 Walkers voucher today. Hoping Booths or my local Asda don't treat it the way many on this thread have been.

I was planning to buy several small food items to reach the £4. Anyone aware this is any less acceptable than one "food item", as that's what the terms say.
  • Ty TS - wish me luck!
  • Ooh - I should be gone already but just wondering if the Air wick thingys - crystal I saw yesterday for £2 in ours would work on instore shop too?

I noticed this a few days ago. One of the 'completists':D. As usual, it was months old before I even saw it. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/must-record-collection-every-chart-5617863

I wonder if the collection literally included every single, for example, to take an example at complete random, "Love will Come" by Tomski. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lu20kjvfKOU* (And what about all the different versions of each single? CD1? CD2?) As usual, they (the newspaper reporters) mention the pop songs, such as Michael Jackson, Abba, Elvis and the Rolling Stones, that made the chart and not the "other songs" that also got into (the lower reaches of) the "pop" charts. Apparently, he bought from an independent record store every week until they closed then started buying from Woolworths. However, Woolworths (that now legendary store!, home of our pick n mix bargains how can we forget?) did not stock every new entry in the charts, only the 'commercial' pop ones (I remember asking for the song "Mercury and Solace" by BT, which coincidentally features the same vocalist (on vocal versions anyway:D), me being completely clueless and in a totally different world to the commercial pop sound of the large majority of the radio, and me assuming that that was pop music as it was no 28 in the charts and got the response from the cashier "Do you mean ATB?" No, I mean BT - Brian Transeau. And then "You mean ATB?", and so on. ATB were no 1. No, I said, BT, had a hit in the early 1990s with "Loving You More" that got to number 14, so I assumed that everyone would know it! The cashier didn't know anything about it).

That valuation was too low, and I think the price of £70,000 eventually paid was also too low (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3091640/Stunning-record-collection-including-chart-single-crammed-collector-s-tiny-house-goes-70-000.html). For 45,000 singles, that's less than £1.60 each. Considering that mint copies of original releases by artists such as the Rolling Stones - there will be some rare records in that collection - go for up to £1,000 each, that price was way too low.

I wonder if there is someone out there that buys every single "new entry" on my M list each time I do one!:rotfl: And, if so, can let us know what works or does not. There are some 'good difference' items on the Tvs M part of the list this time. Yet again simply acting as an advertisement and getting you to buy more than you need!:naughty::rotfl:

Not yet finished - I'm about half way through (I'm a completist:D:laugh:) - so quite a bit more to go on there yet - but a few extra items already on there now.

*As you remember vividly, number 31 for one week in February 2000. In the absence of the "Radio Edit" (and a "Top Forty" show reminder) from Youtube, I've gone for the 6am mix as sounding closer to it, although it is a bit different and slightly better (more real club "underground" sound to it). 6am mix was on one version of the CD single (and of course vinyl versions of the song elsewhere).

Morning, yes had a great time, thank you. Managed to get the last of the very few parking spaces, surprised it was only £1 for 4 hours as it was a council run one. Need to spend as much time as I can with ds2 as he's off to China for a year next week teaching English at a uni there. Anyone with any tips on things to take etc great fully received:)
Also if anyone knows of a good deal on an electric toothbrush as he wants one for his birthday also next week.
Have my dads funeral next Monday, been nursing him at my parents home for 3 weeks, prior to him passing away on the 26 th :(. Hence not seeing much of my son recently. I don't do sympathy so no comments please.

    £18.50 in Sains
£49.99 in Asda - You would get a massive APG but potentially £17 with cheap fillers

I would just buy it in Sains.

I ordered this one, hoping that they would swap it for the c350 which is on special offer in Asda for £25... no such luck, they sent me a colgate one instead!
