    Important Safety Information

If you have an EE Power Bar, check whether yours says E1-06 on it - if it does they have been recalled as a small number have been overheating. You can get it exchanged for a new one.

Good morning Di :Ahope you are feeing not too bad with your Chemo :(and that you managed to find a wig that you feel comfortable with.Glad to know we have another LA Fan on board:T:TI like you am not really a fan of their clothing as I wore the original type LA dresses many moons ago:eek::eek:but so love their home range and admit to only buying in the sale;)

I have had some great bargains in the home sale. Once they had a sale on wallpaper I can't remember the exact prices now but it was half price so I think £8 instead of £16( it was a few years ago) anyway I bought far too many rolls it was for our tiny spare bedroom. When I took the spare ones back they were full price so to decorate the room cost us £6!!! I DO remember that bit haha x
Try to forget the date, don't spend time thinking about unpleasant memories try to think about your mum and happy ones :D
Yes I got a wig yesterday a chocolate brown bob and I've also ordered a brown shortie which is a bit flicked here and there. My mum and dad have bought them for me which will help me enjoy them even more :T
I just need the long red curly one now :rotfl:

Enjoy your day say hi to Lala :)

Hope she's being good on SW ;)
  • I actually bought a sandwich and the till still wouldn't accept it!!

30 minutes at the till is far too long to wait for £4....

Only stipulation according to Walkers is that you buy a bag/multi of crisps as well as your other "Lunch" items. As long as I bought a bag of crisps I have used the rest on coke, sandwiches, multi pack yogurts and just general food items. Do have to tell them to scan the back though x:rotfl:

no I've never fancied the SW or WW group thingy esp as they would be full of people who can drop 3 pounds in a week instead of a month :D

I think things would be easier if the weather was less horrible - when its nice we often have salads 3 times in a week - much easier to keep the calories under control - high volume, less calories ...

I should be a spokesman for SW :rotfl:

In group, they do make a fuss about big losses, but big losses are not sustainable or advised over a long period.

Often big losers will have a maintain or gain the the next week but nobody remembers those ;)

There's an offer on at the moment for free membership in Bella magazine (weekly £4.95 to be paid still) you get the new member talk and book and get weighed.

Might be worth getting the book and doing it at home :) there's loads of support for non-paying SW'ers on mse, facebook etc...

    Good morning all...

Sorry but my thanks button seems to have gone....I'm having a few problems with my computer recently so am going to st a full scan for later and hopefully that might clear out all the nasties and spped me up.

I have read back....and I do love a good stash pic!

Last night we hoofed it off to the cinema on a free screening...trainwreck...quite funny in parts, too much use of the F word un necessarily ....and possibly not the best choice of film for parental viewing with the teens ...but hey ho we live and learn and were able to have a laugh about it afterwards.

hope everyone has a good day...I'm a little undecided what to do...I feel like a wander but it feels a bit cold to go out.

please can I ask has anyone put in a missing claim on Topcashback recently and if so how long did it take to be accepted or rejected?

I did a Groupon order last night and sadly it has not shown up today - usually it shows in the pending column within hours.

so I started a missing claims support thingy - its showing my click as being tracked when I went to the website but not how much I spent.

sadly I don't think they will accept it

I was going to just start again this morning - order the same deal again but using OHs TCB and cancel the one I have on mine. But i've just checked Quidco which had 10% cashback offer yesterday but this has now finished - I was going to do a matched cashback .

Its a bit annoying - it would have been about £1.50 in cashback if my plan had gone to plan :)

The worst of it though is that this deal might be just a stop gap if I can find something better within the next 14 days.
Its for a wine bar close to where we will be staying on our weekend break, very chic and it has good reviews. The offer is for a sharing platter and wine - an entire bottle  We have been almost teetotal for months now apart from the occasional breakouts, an entire bottle over a lunch time might floor us - stagger to the hotel to book in and then float in the pool all afternoon until it wears off :rotfl:

that weird thing happened to me last night - all I had was the thanks button and nothing else - it was after id done a cookie and cache clearout and I had to log in again so I don't know if this upset it.
