There's also a twinpack Magnum dishwasher cleaner in Aldi for £1.99 (subject to stock availability), for those, with a dishwasher:D, that are unable to get glitches elsewhere, clearly better price than the Morrisons straight offer that they go on on the Finish singles of £1.75.

You don't need dishwasher cleaner Savvy:p. Just a cup of white vinegar, wash, then some baking soda and wash again and it's done - far cheaper (absent a glitch on d/washer cleaner:rotfl:).

I think you now have to earn over £21 thousand now before you start paying back student loans - is this correct - can anyone confirm?

My eldest because her course was 5 or 6 years ago had to start paying when she started earning £15 k, first job after uni and she was over this ammount - I think its the same for the youngest one but I doubt if he will earn £15 k for a few years yet. I think its a percentage and they send you a statement every year.

After a certain number of years I think its written off - again not sure how many, 20 years???

Yes, now the rules are 9% of anything over £21,000.

    pre-2012 the limit is £17,355.

In Morrisons today OH wanted more Cheshire cheese. We have been trying various versions from Aldi, all around the magic £5 per kg and all very good.

But we were in Morrison's not Aldi so I had a look at the cheese counter and it had Singletons Lancashire half price for £3.75 per kg :j - not seen such a good price for cheese.

Not sure if this is a national offer but its worth checking the cheese counter as you go past

We got a huge wedge for £2 - would have been £4 - cut it into sections - very nice crumbled on the inevitable salad

I assume you saw this on the M list on Monday?:rotfl: I mentioned it then!

I don't know if this is national but it should be - it's certainly available in more than one store!

So, OH wanted Cheshire Cheese but ended up with none and ended up with Lancashire instead!!:eek: But that's precisely what you should do - switch to the Lancashire, you've done very well!!:T:T:T

It's still on my list (under the 'Buy in M' - top of page 4, 40 posts) with a note that the SP 385g cheese at 50p is cheaper:rotfl:. That works out at about £1.30/kg, if you can find it, making £3.75:eek:/kg seem a complete rip-off:rotfl:, but the cheaper cheese appears to be store-specific and is only if you want cheddar. So, the Lancashire - a nicer cheese (maybe) and it's at a price that made it to the list, so it must be good().

Meanwhile, despite me informing people in my house about arranging meals out, they've decided that Wednesday again is the best night to have a meal:( - 15th of the month they've decided, due to that being the middle of the month:wall: - so, yet again, faced with more pressing timescale if I'm to go to M on that day:eek::eek::(. Details, if I go in the first place:rotfl:, I might not, may be late in the day therefore. I don't think next week is expected to be much of a change - I suspect little on Monday and hopefully not much on Wednesday either - but I think the following week (19th July) might be a bigger changeover.

Yes, I think they're saying you should be refunded within 24 hours but, if you've incurred bank charges, then you need to give them a call and they'll put them right.

There have nice long dates so you will have plenty of time to rehome if there not your sort of thing. Deffo not worth the £2.49 there ment to be though.
Ignore reality. There's nothing you can do about it.

It was the right decision when I decided to stop going to M, but also the right decision when I've decided to do so again in the last few weeks. Playing it by ear (not literally:eek::rotfl:) mostly now - but might stop again if the weather turns nice again (which, actually, for the other reason - I hope it does!). I don't mind going (and I did very well, getting it done so quickly yesterday), but if weather turns much nicer...:T:T
