I want to be able to get to grips with this problem can some one repost it later on Saturday - one glass of wine tonight and my brain is fizz, not used to strong drink now :)

I am usually good at figuring our car insurance dilemmas - it took 3 weeks to figure out our latest. It also took 4 phone calls, talking to various people until I got a result - saved our offspring about £300 so it was worth plugging away

It may be a case of writing out the various scenarios - pass the test or don't pass - taking onboard the pass rate was/is only about 50%

Isn't there an automatic right to cancel in the first 7 days if you buy online?

So it wasn't picked up on the scan or did it happen too late for a scan? Do you have a mobile scan service?
She lambed in the field with no indication that she was ready today?- do you have foxes doing the rounds?

This lamb will be fattened up then and sent with the other late developers - how many months does it take?

We don't scan (we might this year) but even if we did she would probably have been barren at the time.

OH has been milking so has only been checking on them once a day.

No indication at all, she must have had it quite quickly as I went over about 3 hours later. TBF it's not the sort of thing you are on the lookout for now :rotfl:

Well the tree surgeon was supposed to be coming this morning but he hasn't arrived :( possibly because the weather is so wet......

Sorry to hear your woodman didn't arrive and it's a pity I don't live around the corner or I could come and sort you out. I'm well experienced at that sort of thing and have all the necessary tools including a pretty useful chopper to hand.

I expect scanning is an expensive business but I thought it was done regularly so that you could work out what supplements to give to mums with twins or triplets or non at all to the barren ones.

Do you have your own ram or do you bring one in? I am just imaging a ram leaping the fences to get back into the sheep field weeks after he had done all the others :)

I don't know why I've got this fascination with lambing and sheep - OH is from a farming background but I'm a townie. It started with Kate humble and lambing live years ago but even now if we see a field of rare breeds we try and work out what the breed is :)

I can't even figure out how long until we are next away - September, October, November ... They stretch ahead like barren wastelands :(

I can't even seem to get a couple of days away before Christmas organised yet. And our cattery is fully booked until August 10th now so we are def house bound for the next few weeks

We've been planning to find a gap filler sometime early Autumn. I did find one with a good selection of ports but it was the same ship we are on and it seemed silly to be on the same ship twice in such a short time.

In the meantime everything that is on the left over cabin lists for the rest of the year still seems overpriced. There was a Celebrity for October, over priced and it didn't seem to have a drinks package to soften the blow.

And then there was a little 7 day one in October but the same itinery next April is £200 cheaper pp:eek:

Another thing holding me back is 2 big bills in the autumn which will be paid whatever happens and the builder has been promising to do the bathrooms but we keep going to the bottom of his To Do list

Something might come up, just have to hope.
