We were in town yesterday afternoon and the hotel in town has a huge hoarding advertising Christmas dinners - we are going to have to drive past this hoarding at least once a week for the next 5 months but I expect it will still be there in February“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Good morning all
The weather where I am is horrendous. The rain is coming down in stair rods, the sky is as 'black as your hat' and it doesn't look set to improve any time soon. I am on the east coast so don't venture here for a day out:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I got absolutely soaked when I went out yesterday and thought that it would have rained itself out but no, I got up this morning and it is still persisting it down
I am on the west and we are sat under a thick blanket of cloud and it's only 12 degrees - it must be everyone sandwiched in the middle who are getting the sunshine“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Free Milk via CoS.
1 pint of Whole, Skimmed or Semi Skimmed Milk available from Aldi, Asda, Morrisons, Tesco or Sainsburys until 28th July (as stated on the App) or Monday 27th July Midnight (as stated on their e-mail).0 -
Well the tree surgeon was supposed to be coming this morning but he hasn't arrived
possibly because the weather is so wet
The postie is arriving at random times now anything up to 2 in the afternoon so there is no point hanging about and hoping re walkers mocs.
I did the To Do list but that's virtually empty as we seen to be in between crisis.
So rather than waste the day waiting for things not to happen - tree surgeons not to arrive, posties not to bring walkers mocs, the rain to stop and the sunshine to come out - I am going to join the throng of Bedroom Sorters“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

. No need to thank us 'bit in the middle' :rotfl::rotfl: just enjoy.
Seriously though, have a good day everybody. Hope the weather stays nice for the parties and bbq's.Before you assume, learn the facts,

I want to be able to get to grips with this problem can some one repost it later on Saturday - one glass of wine tonight and my brain is fizz, not used to strong drink now
I am usually good at figuring our car insurance dilemmas - it took 3 weeks to figure out our latest. It also took 4 phone calls, talking to various people until I got a result - saved our offspring about £300 so it was worth plugging away
It may be a case of writing out the various scenarios - pass the test or don't pass - taking onboard the pass rate was/is only about 50%
Mhoc, I knew you would appreciate this dilema! Cheapest quote for me alone is £200. Cheapest quote for me with son on is £1300 (actually surprised about this, and it is way less than any other company). Of course, the two quotes are different companies so can't even take it out for me then add him on as and when.
SSM, sorry to hear about your OH father. Sounds like a really difficult situation to be in with the way his mum is acting.0 -
Sorry you have it grotty too, I thought it was just us on this coastline. Looks like we are keeping the 'bit in the middle' warm and dry then

Don't bet on it! We are about 30 miles west of London and it has gone all cloudy nowWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I would wait and see if he passes first. If he fails you will be gutted you took insurance out. If he passes you will all be so excited you won't be as bothered by the price.0
