Good morning :)we have sunshine too ....so much rain yesterday:eek:but gardens looking lush..hope you are feeling okay :A

Yes there's nothing like a bit of rain for making the garden look good.
My anti sickness tablets have run out so I'm feeling a bit groggy but still solo much better than I thought I would, thank you. Is it Tom tonight or tomorrow night? I never really knew anything about him but I've watched him on the voice the last two years and he seems like a lovely person. I'm sure you will have a ball.

Yes I'd like the weather to be warmer but so would we all.
Yes the household excel charts is looking very deflated, car insurances cost over a thousand (4 car multipolicy) but I do get eldest sons portion back next week on payday.
I've got to make decisions about booking weekend breaks and using the !!!!!! cc deals but these are the nicer sort of problems.

apart from that all is right with the world :j

interesting calculations on multi car policies. Friends had 4 cars on one policy and then dropped a car for a few weeks, turned out that the 3 cars remaining were more expensive than 4. Something to do with the way each car attracted a further discount for the 4th car meant the price dropped overall. Makes calculating the portion each person should contribute difficult.

    Update on OH's father

OH's mum has until today refused to allow the priest to do the last rights... she agreed today but he could not do it (due to something that only catholics understand). So he blessed him and exonerated him of his sins.

He is rather disorientated, trying to get out of bed but cannot stand up so 2 out of the 3 sons have been present throughout. He really needs to be in a hospice, but she is refusing stating that they are coping... OH did a 40 hour stint and is now in bed. Tensions are high in OH's family.

Thinking of you and your family It is so sad that that his wife cannot see that a hospice may be more peaceful x

Please remember that MSE doesn't allow discussions about users who have been PPRd so it would be best to stop this all right now before the FT get even more fed up with the thread and its ongoing issues.

Quoting this from our wonderful redfox lady :A for the morning squad .

Oh, I wish people didnt have a bad view on hospices (not saying she does) but they can be wonderful places.

Morning all. Hope everyone is well.

I used to volunteer at a hospice and it totally changed my thinking of them. Family could visit any time not just visiting hours, patients were made comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. If patients wanted fish and chips someone got them. A very comfortable place with lots of alternative therapys on offer. IMO just how it should be xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

Not been to Cafe Nero with my O2 app, but have looked at the map and seen one not too far away from work, will be a nice walk for a freebie :) do you ask for a card the same time as you order your drink? :)

The cards are freely available on the counter and I just place it next to my phone with the code on . Nine stamps gives you any free drink with toppings etc

    Good Morning all :)
