    the man next door was arrested with neglect and animal cruelty i called the place they took the dog to this morning they said hes doing ok but has a way to go.....i personally dont like dogs but people mistreating them is wrong

    I also am not keen on dogs having been bitten as a child and again not so long ago at work- but I would never want any body ill treating any living thing. I hope the dog finds a loving home and that your neighbour is never allowed or keeps any other animals....it makes my blood boil :mad:
    but good for you calling the police:A

    Just had a look at the outside temperature in the back garden. 12.8 C.

    I have 12.6. It's bloody JULY :eek::eek:

    If it gets any colder later I'll have to put the heating on for an hour :eek::eek::eek:

    Need a rant - Last year we were burgled and 3 lap tops were stolen one new and obsolete. Long story short apprehended 3 individuals and a dog! Laptops retrieved but kept by Police for forensics. Scene of Crime Officer came out immediately and got DNA and fingerprints connecting them to inside my house and laptops - so they couldn't just say they found them in the street.

    Also this prompted a search of their homes where a lot of other stolen items were recovered from unresolved cases over the past year. Thought Police were fantastic - kept me informed as case went through Court System. Now one of the burglars is under 18 and was dealt in the Youth Court and is now under the Youth Offending Service and as part of the Restorative Justice process, I have been asked what I would like the Offender to do. All I want really is a face to face apology which I thought would be simple to set up. Oh no, so far I have had to endure a 90 mins phone call, then a 2 hr home visit where they wanted me to sign papers agreeing to this, that and the other. Now after another hour on the phone - they want me to attend a conference where they will ask me questions in front of the offender about my feelings etc as they feel that is the best way forward. What a waste of my time and public money. Typical Social Services - told them to stick it. Last laugh was they asked if I would put that in writing!

    OMG I have done a mhoc LOL. Feel better now!

    Sorry to hear you were burgled, I know how it feels to come home and find your house ransacked by thieves. It happened to us many years ago now but you don't forget the feeling.
    I just cannot believe the performance just to get an apology. Makes me laugh really, all that paperwork and phone calls are to protect the villain. Who owes who an apology? Jobs for the boys, what a waste of your time and the publics money. Unbelievable.

    Can i ask if u know tweets if ur 3lbs or more under lowest weight sw allows if u have to pay? thanks x

    Hi Swad,

    If you are outside of the +/- 3lbs then you get a grace week, if the following week you are back in target range it costs you nothing however if you are still outside the range you have to pay for that week AND the previous grace week.

    Hope that helps.

    edit to add:

    Also, target members don't have to WI every week... SW website says at least once every two months (I thought it was 4 weeks, maybe it's changed), It's nice to skip WI at xmas for example to give a bit more time to get back to range :money:

    the info is on SW's website, but consultants can override fees if they wish.

    We were actually in bed and I was woken up by what I thought was someone falling down the stairs. I ran down as I thought it might be my son who is disabled - I was so relieved to see the front door wide open - I knew immediately it was a burglary so I was able to contact the Police within minutes. DS was in bed shouting down to me telling me that I had woken him up with my noise.
