I count the blessings numerous times a day, I can't believe we have managed to get this far - it was a very long dark tunnel and as far as I knew that was how life was, no one has ever said to me just keep going there is a door at the end.

But I am also painfully aware that this might not be the end of the tunnel, we might be just in a ventilation shaft and eventually have to go back into another tunnel again

We have no idea if OH will carry on working until the set retirement age or beyond or if his health will allow this. The next tunnel will involve our income dropping by half.

In the meantime we are getting out and about, having holidays that we never even dreamed of having, de cluttering and clearing the house etc ready for the next stage.

As Miranda says such fun :)

    Morning gang
just up for air, I so agree with this post as OH and DS1 have a small business and we don't even take enough to live on, we can't .....but what do you do if you aren't working all the hours ??? I work part time but need to up my hours as we have slid into another "tunnel" of debt and bad health.......may have to sell my little bolt hole in Spain but will cling on as it serves as respite for OH after a lot of 70 + hour weeks.
At least we are occupied, couldn't stand doing nothing and getting on each others nerves all of the time ;) hope all are well, so behind I can't possibly read back but please shout if you have received any Walkers vouchers in the last 10 days or if I need to email someone...thanking you all and onwards (not sure about upwards)my lovelies xxxxxxxx

Morning all, read back and seems to be lots vs Ts :j

So I could put dove, udis, biscuits, prawn crackers, breaded chicken, ktc beans all in one shop????

As for my overcharge, I'm spending my vouchers before contacting them and hopefully in that time I'll have had a refund. Tbw, if you get anywhere please will you let us know?

    Thanks

Thats a thing, women can get their pension before men, yet statistically live longer. That cant be fair, equality for all :)
I thought they done away with women able to claim their state pension before men. Which was the right thing to do. But now everyone has to work longer before they can claim the state pension which is wrong.

    Morning all

sorry if it's already been mentioned, too busy packing for my hols, the APG is not seeing the multi buy on KTC tins (4 for £1) this is on A.com when ordering,

i wasn't expecting any apg just using up e vouchers before going, thought i'd get loads of tins for my vegan ds.

i think for a £2 send for 8 tins you get 83p/87p back, so £1.17/£1.13 for eight tins,

please feel free to correct me, maths not my good point!

    hope this may help some

    Brilliant result :T

KTC tins went to 3 for £1 today so that might get picked up now.

Yes, it has been a strange year for them, I wasnt sure if it was because I was trying new types (to me). They have very thin stalks, look a bit weedy.

Must just be my work pension. Hmmm, I wonder how they can get away with it, if the state pension has changed, unless I am ill-informed, which would not be a suprise.
