Morning all hope everyone is well.
I like being a friend granny SSMxx
I'm loving it xxxI did look at that option ssm but my fussy kids wanted a beach as well so we staying in a caravan at skipsea sands.
We loved camping at Flamingo Land when the kids were in their teens, there is the caravan area, but right at the back there are some fields that are usually empty.....idea for some peace, and after tea we go and see the animals and the kids get on the rides early, when the park is busy they go swimming (you only pay once to get into the park, and reasonable camping fees).
That's where we stayed week before last:D[/QUOTE]
The Elite invade Skipsea sands!

Parents with children that have needs do a great job, Personally I think carers allowance should be at a rate that covers working a full time job. i.e if the child needs 24 hour care then the carers allowance should be a lot more. carers save the tax payer a lot of money.. even the children that care for parents with serve disability's should be taken care more.
My carers allowance (for my dd1) doesn't even cover half our rent. I'm grateful for it but it means DP is at work for more hours because one of us needs to be here for her. I did used to work part time but kept having to leave to help her out at school, take her to appointments etc.
And the worse part, she doesn't have a visible illness/disability so I just look like a terrible parent most of the time0 -

Please can we be nice to each other or just don't post? This thread is becoming hard work due to the constant sniping and I can see why people stay away if this is how it is going to be
