Ive got a £23,000 car and £30,000 extension to my house paid by the tax payer:cool::beer::j:j
So you have full disability allownce and you can change your car every 3 years for a new one - I know a couple in this situation.
Your extension -
on the prog last week from Portsmouth there was a nice couple who had sister living with them and 3 kids, one severely less able and they needed a downstairs bedroom and walk in wet room for her. No social housing was suitable for them but they found them a house and they were building the extension they needed.
This was costing £30 thousand but it was the best solution to a situation with no easy answer.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Time to go and get the washing in as it looks like we could have some overnight rain
so night night all:A

I think its great that councils do this. its a win win really.. the cost of residential care for a child with disability's is quite a lot.
So it might cost the tax payer but in the end it will save money.
Anyways, must go to bed now. I have work in the morning.0 -

We like mobility cars. There is a place up the way sells them second hand. They are fabulously well maintained, and because they are bought cheap (due to bulk purchase) they are then sold cheap. We got ours well below market price.
One annoying thing, just after we got it we used the Dartford crossing, OH went on the website to pay and it said we didn't have to pay ............ unless we had just bought the vehicleWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
