Good morning one and all, dont know if this has been mentioned - the new tesco mag July/August has tge following vouchers:-
    £1 off Comfort intense 38 or 64 pack which is £5 T £3 A
£1 off Surf - different types. some good comparisons
£1 off any product from frozen bbq range
£1 off Arla Big milk 2 litres for toddlers

50p off Hipp organic 100g pouch
Plus coupon inside for 50p off Uncle bens rice and grains range, and 50p of£2 spend on everyday cards.

Thanks for this - am aiming to get to a T this evening so hope they have the mags instore. Need to start testing which scan on what :D. There are some small bottles of Comfort for £1 and the 33 surf capsules are £3.97 at A, £8 at T  but good for using up all these cs mocs they keep posting out  Also, frozen BBQ range on 3 for £6 but offer runs out today - will be good if more than moc will scan and offer extended. Any ideas what counts as frozen BBQ?:D

Edit - are there online codes on the mocs? If they are posted on Discounts we can try stuff in basket to see what works ....

Popping in to say hello. On holiday eating breakfast on the balcony looking out over the Mediterranean. 31 degrees which is a little hot for me!

Glad somebody's getting good weather! Was there an issue about getting British TV there? Did you resolve it?

Ooo, excellent, I love a good debate, and just in time for the school holidays when people suddenly loose the balls to post under their usual forum names.

My take on benefits, if anyones interested.

I think they do need massive changes, there are people who have no intention of ever 'working' for a living because they have it easy on benefits. For some, it is all they have known, we are now on the third generation of homes where no one has worked in this area, ever since the majority of heavy industry were closed down.
Children have seen their parents and grandparents live a reasonable life without having to work, so why should they? This needs to change. For those that can work, they should be made to do a few hours a day if they want state hand-outs. Perhaps doing jobs that make life a little nicer for all those that do work.
I believe rents should be paid straight to the landlord, and vouchers for food be given, and be none transferable. There was a person on my local selling page last week selling milk vouchers, this needs stopping.
On the flip side, I also think the transition onto benefits for those that have fell on hard times needs changing, perhaps a percentage of their average earnings, being reduced on a sliding scale over a year or so, so that they can adjust to the reduced income a little easier, and after all, if they have paid a lot more into the system, they deserve a little more out of it.
Make it so that working people get preference for medical appointments at certain times (controversial perhaps) as if people dont work, they can go at the times when there is less demand.
I dont think there is any reason why someone who is lucky enough to be fit and health not to find work. But people dont like doing certain jobs, hence the influx of people from other countries, doing the jobs people here will not do. These people are willing to graft, and graft hard.

I remember once listing to a 17 year old who had her life all planned out. She was going to finish college, have a baby so she could get a house, then have another child. No intention of ever working, this is the mindset we need to change.

it would also be good if the uncle bens one worked on any uncle bens rice :D

I am thinking that if there are codes and they do work nicely on an online shop we could get a £25 click and collect order in before the minimum order went up to £40
A couple of the 33 surf s would give a TPP of just over £8 - if it compares correctly. I wonder though about the comfort - might it only be the larger stores.

I've got conditional spends for £20 shops so doing a £25 order if enough for me -

This is the trigger in the 2 for £2 biscuits...

It's a visible trigger so you can either buy an even number of those, or an odd number with one other in the 2 for £2 (iced gems compare well). (i.e. 4x cookies or 3xcookies + 1xiced gem)

Thanks you! I will head out for those. Got a christening on sunday and was going to do sweetie jars but maybe i'll do mini biscuit jars instead :rotfl: Take it that vs Ts works fine? Not much time to read back so i'll pop in the usual prawn crackers, paracetamol, bog roll...think this is off the list now but we are running low
