To be honest I wouldn't either. I have colleagues in the past run into all sorts of trouble travelling without passports to places such as NI and the Isle of Man because they took 'other' forms of acceptable ID with them.
Generally I think airports expect passports regardless of the rules. I expect even more so with children.

Oh the fun the photograph will be :o :rotfl: He is a child whos toothy grin is unleashed the minute a camera is in sight. He has no control over it, it just happens :rotfl::rotfl: that may be part of the reason I put renewing the passport off :o

Delurking to comment :o I have to renew the kids passports before we go away in October so was telling DS2 that he will need to go to the boothe, sit still and not smile....he looked at me all disgusted and said "not smile!! why?" First thing in my muddled head is that it might make some peoples faces all wrinkly, his response was "well, that's not fair on all the old people" :rotfl: :rotfl:

This just after I caught him brushing his hair over and again muttering "nah, too Justin Beiber" :rotfl::rotfl:

Had me in stitches today the lad has :)

I've got 3 Tupperware beakers that I give to the littlies when they come round.

They are at least 30 years old. Me and my brothers used to use them at my grandparents when we were little :)

No, it didn't - silly me. But I was pleased with the APG I got.
