    That's what I meant to say, cut as in going completely. :(

    DD2 is after 4 years of study already approx. £28,000 in debt luckily she started pre 2012. Without the grant this figure would be around £40,000 possibly more as I am taking these figures from memory as to what her fees, loan, grant are/were.

    She still has 2 years left to study and no guarantee of a junior doctor place at the end of it. One of the reasons she has chosen to do an intercalated degree this coming year is to give her a better chance although not sure what final funding implications this will have on her final year of medicine in 2016.

    I agree the social divide gap will get bigger.......
