My theory is that if the hand wash bottles are full to the top the boys in this household are more likely to use them.

The hand wash is sometimes a lurid colour when 2 things don't quite mix up :rotfl:

I also tip out the dregs of shampoo bottles into the hand wash and then the bottles are rinsed in the bath water for the very last dregs - clean bottles then into the plastic recycling.

MY OH thinks its abnormal to play with plastic bottles in the bath :rotfl:

With the nice hot weather over the last few weeks my OH is not running baths so we are only showering. A collection of almost empty plastic bottles is starting to collect at the edge of the bath - I think its a test of nerves to see how long he can go without running a bath and how long I can go before the row of bottles gets to be annoying :D.

Ha ha ha, love it. Great ideas though I like your thinking :rotfl:

    Thanks,

  • Evening all..

Paid a trip to my local to see if one of our favourite triggers still works.

Despite my pic making it look like it is in the 3 for £5 offer, it is not picked up, making the 2 x Sanex deodorants compare at full price.

    Apg picks up A v M £6.38 v £2.98 returning £3.70 and A v T £6.38 v £3.18 returning £3.52.

There might be other decent comparisons in the 3 for £5 offer, I just went with what looked respectable for me..:D

    Here's the A v M..

0.02x ASDA Loose Broccoli (PER KG) £0.02 N/A
    0.08x ASDA Onions (PER KG) £0.06 £0.06
1x Swizzels Refreshers Chew Bar (SINGLE) £0.10 N/A
    1x Haribo Starmix (1PK) £0.10 £0.10
0.02x ASDA Loose Carrots (PER KG) £0.02 £0.01
    1x MAOAM Sour Giant Stripes Cola & Lemon Flavour (1PK) £0.10 £0.10
    1x Barratt Flumps (12G) £0.10 £0.10
    2x Sanex Dermo Active Control 24H Anti-Perspirant Deodorant (250ML) £6.38 £2.98

    And the A v T..

0.02x ASDA Loose Broccoli (PER KG) £0.02 £0.02
    0.08x ASDA Onions (PER KG) £0.06 £0.06
1x Swizzels Refreshers Chew Bar (SINGLE) £0.10 N/A

I do the same. I can only use Head and Shoulders shampoo so I make sure the old bottle is upside down on the new bottle until it is empty, any shower gels are upended into new ones, or the collection of old ones is combined, and OHs shampoos often get mixed together, but he never notices!

When we used bar soap I used to mush the little ends of bars up together, found a small plastic dish, combined them together with a small amount of warm water and put a weight on top, made for an interesting bar of soap!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Orthodontists make dentists look cheap. Both mine needed braces. DS1 was an obvious case for qualifying under the NHS rules but we were first told that DS2 couldn't have his teeth straightened on the NHS. While we were waiting for his teeth to develop to a stage where he would need to start treatment we had a call to say that the orthodontist in our area had been given some extra funding and our time waiting for his teeth to develop counted as if we had been on some waiting list, so we got his done on the NHS also. Some of my friends have been quoted £2000!

£3.29 3 for '2' meaning over £2.19 each:eek: at W - why? Should be £1 each at Sains. - or is it missing the S price? Then buy in S:p, on a non-Brand Match shop (obviously).:)

    Evening :)

SFSB, from tomorrow the Dove bath washes are £1.64 at T and should give a return of £5.80 on the £5 spend.
