Last day of debt recovery stage

I received a parking charge in April From UKPC as my ticket was facing downwards on the dash thanks to wind!
As it was my exam period I didnt send a letter to UKPC until a couple of weeks after I received the NTK. Not long after received a letter from DRP saying yada yada pay by 7th july.
So today I called them to tell them that the charge is disputed and denied obviously got a load of 28 day guff off them.
Question is where next I still have no reply from UKPC.
Cheers

complain to S CLARK or his office at the BPA , attach copies of all paperwork, a timeline, and a free certificate of posting if posted at the P.O.
if it was an online email appeal or similar, provide the BPA with any proof of submission or any acknowledgements , then complain about DRP chasing it whilst under appeal in breach of the BPA CoP, ask them to investigate (add copies of the DRP letter too)0 -
Check your dates - if you submitted an appeal within 28 days of the NtK then you should have been in time.
How did you submit your appeal?
Do you have proof?
They have 35 days to consider your appeal once they receive it and then respond. So check when you sent it.
If still within the 35 days hang fire to see if they get back to you.
If it's now way longer - the suggest you complain to Steve Clarke of the BPA that their member is failing to comply with the CoP by
a) neither acknowledging receipt of your appeal nor responding to it with in 35 days.
b) continuing to process the charge by passing it to debt collectors whilst it is still under appeal.
Include copies of all correspondence to from the PPC and the debt collectors together with proof your appeal was submitted when contacting the BPA.
Contact details for SC at the BPA will be found in post #6 of the NEWBIES thread.
Edit: Note to self - must type faster0 -
OK thank you I will get all my dates together as it could have been 28 days after the NTK it wasn't a priority at the time. How can I prove I sent a letter I have a copy of the letter with the date attached
Cheers0 -
if you posted it, you will be asked for a copy of the proof of postage, which is the free certificate of posting from the P.O., otherwise you have no proof and they will assume you are not telling the trusth until you prove otherwise
in future, use the P.O. if sending letters and get a free cert of posting0
