Europcar Rental Invoice not adding up

So I rented a car from Stuttgart airport and returned to same and had paid for the agreement up front. They had sent me an email confirming the booking and note that I have paid a deposit - still owing money.
The overall rental agreement was Euro274.33 (approx £210) and I had paid a deposit of Euro234.87 (approx £210.41). So that leaves me approximately Euro40 to pay.
They have then sent me this invoice and none of the figures are adding up, even if I take into consideration currency conversions
.

They are adding on approximately Euro132.30 somewhere even though I believe I only owe Euro40.
Can anyone see where I am missing a rate? The overall price imo should be in the region of Euro300 not the Euro406 they are quoting.

The charge appears to be for fuel, did you not refill before returning the car? they have charged 111 Euros plus VAT by the looks of it. That probably won't be for that much fuel either, when I rented from Europcar in the UK ten days ago, the fuel was charged at £2.73 a litre, two and a half times the price at the pump. If you did refill in full, then raise a query through their UK office in Leicester.0

The car came with a full tank of fuel, but when I returned it, it only had half a tank in it. 111 euros for a half tank of fuel?? Sounds a bit suspect to me, although right now its the only thing that makes sense. I have been through their T&Cs and trying to google but can't find anything that says "must be returned fully fuelled". I'm assuming it's in there somewhere?0

Fuel is not included in the rental cost - to avoid paying a hefty price for it you need to refill the car yourself before returning it.Evolution, not revolution0

Oh dear, you thought they gave you free fuel? A car has to be returned in exactly the same position it was when you got it, no extra bumps and if it was full when you got it, that's what it should look like when you take it back. I am sorry but 30 litres of fuel for 111 Euros sounds about right at rental car prices, and they all do the same, so there is no point in telling people not to use Europcar.0
