need help, please

In April I received a PCN from Armtrac Security in Cornwall, the reason why is because my parking tickets was not visible.
I appealled and they rejected it, then he to.d me to pay £60 or to appealed to the independent Appeal Service, so I did. They said that my appealed was not valid son know they are asking me to pay £100 or go to court.
I have not got that money, plus also I do not know if it is legally right for them to charge me that amount of money.

I'm really lost and I do not know what to do as I have not got £100, if they send me to court I will be paying more that I do not know where I'm going to get the money from.

Please I need help!!?,

Just ignore them. They won't do court. (Well, they might, at some point, but they have no history thus far of doing this).

    And why the poll?

Thank you very much for the information bod1467, I am really worried because I do not understand the law at all. I do know that there was a mistake from my part and that is why I am worried but I do not think it is fair to pay that amount of money.
Sorry about the poll, I pressed the wrong the key.

Read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES that will explain why you should now go in to ignore mode, and what to do in the unlikely event that you ever receive real court papers.

It will also explain why it is safe to ignore any debt collector [STRIKE]bog paper[/STRIKE] letters you may recieve in the future.

POPLA is not relevant to you ......

the PPC's fall into (loosely) two groups

    the BPA = POPLA appeals

    and the

IPC = IPA --- kangaroo court

your heinous crime is falls under the latter

Then you have not read down far enough. All the acronyms including PoPLA are explained in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread. However, as Ralph-y says, it is not relevant to your case.

  • I believe mine is IAS. This is the email that I have received today and the IAS dismissed decision was Monday 29th

    Dear Madam,
Having looked in to your appeal regarding PCN ..... we are able to inform you that this PCN is currently outstanding at £100.00.
As you have taken this PCN to the Independent Appeals Service you have taken the appeals out of our hands and the IAS have rejected your appeal in our favour, therefore confirming that this PCN was legitimately issued. We have received your letters regarding the above PCN and have noted your comments, however as this PCN has been appealed through the IAS the appeals process has now been completed. We abide by whatever decision IAS make on an appeal. You submitted all your evidence to the IAS regarding your grounds for appeal and we presented our evidence pack to the IAS in response.
The IAS have rejected the appeal in our favour as this PCN was legitimately issued.
The IAS appeal rejection has been sent to you by the IAS which clearly informs you that the payment of £100.00 is due within 14 days of their rejection letter.
    Yours Faithfully,

So you are now in ignore mode unless you get real court papers. This is unlikely but come back to this thread if it happens.

You will probably get debt collectors [STRIKE]bog paper[/STRIKE] letters now, but the NEWBIES thread tells you why you can safely ignore them. It also tells you why we don't want to know about debt collectors letters here.

legally they can demand you pay an invoice of any amount at all, could be £1000 if they wanted to try it

but its only if a judge decided in their favour that you would be required to pay the figure set by the judge , including costs, or he may throw the case out and you may win

you have the right to defend yourself in court, so do so, if it ever comes to that

they have 6 years to chase the alleged debt under MCOL rules, if they wish to try it , so keep all paperwork, in the meantime ignore everything except an OFFICIAL LBC or an OFFICIAL MCOL
