    I've been Money Tipped!
If you want to find out how much your car is worth privately then get a valuation from these people and then add 33%.

Top book private sale was £5995 dealer not interested unless p/ex. Valuation from we buy any car £4885. Unfortunately insurance could only be extended for one month which will be up in 8 days so would have to take out insurance in my Wife's name which would also mean registering the car in her name so would increase the number of owners.

Not necessarily - I got a valuation from WBAC by email and ignored it. After 7 days they increased their offer.

But like I said in post 11 I'd booked my appointment so had replied to their email valuation.

Then they'd have no reason to increase their offer - they know you're interested enough to book an appointment so why offer more.

They offer me a staggering £75 for my old car. Yes seventy five pounds. I sold it for £620 privately!
