Partner moving in

Hi everyone. Please help advise how my benefits would be affected when my partner (soon to be wife moves in)
I currently live alone and get DLA high care, low mobility, housing benefit and council tax benefit. and ESA support group. ESA £72.40 living expenses + £61.10 severely disabled + £15.55 disability income guarantee + £35.75 extra because in support group = Total ESA £184.80
I am getting married next month to my fianc! who lives in Japan. We have been in a relationship for 3 years and now plan to live together in the UK.
She is also 3 months pregnant
I have read that when living together I will loose the £61.10 from ESA and also 25% from council tax benefit ? Is that right? Maybe also loose the £15.55 income guarantee?
She works in Japan. She will not be working in England until after the birth of our child. After that time we both plan to work a few hours when possible

Congratulations on the impending birth and marriage

Sorry, can't answer any of your queries though.0 -
You need to think first what the immigration status of your wife will be. If she has no recourse to public funds you will need to get some expert advice on how that will impact on your benefits. Your dla will not be affected but your other benefits might be.0

Why will she be working so little?0 -
Sorry, But if she is in Japan and currently works. Why is she coming to Britain to have a child, And if you're on all those benefits for disability, Has she been to the UK or have you went to Japan??
I find it annoying that she's coming to Britain to have a child and marry, Just to claim benefits or work little, Does she have a job lined up.... Also why are you claiming all these benefits for disability then say you will work when she comes, You're disability cant be that bad that you can decide to work...
If immigration had any sense they would deport her soon as she arrives in Britain.0 -
Muttley explained something to me that I never knew recently in discussion time. There's strict rules on immigration and being to sponsor and support the spouse. However, being on disability benefits negates this, apparently its against human rights of the disabled person. Not sure of the whole details but that's the gist.paragon909 wrote: »Sorry, But if she is in Japan and currently works. I'm rather confused with the OP,
He claims all these disability benefits, But hasn't explained if the child will be his, Has his GF been to the UK or has he been to Japan.
And the OP also stated that when his GF has a child they will "After that time we both plan to work a few hours when possible" So clearly he wants her to come to claim Benefits and have the child here.
Human rights shouldn't be used in this case, The OP and who ever his GF is clearly trying to abuse Britain and the immigration system.0 -

Given that she's pregnant, I certainly hope that one of these is the case!;)0 -
