Could do, DDFW, what do you suggest - I'll let you decide.

Well after that burst of enthusiasm, I came down with some dreaded lurgy which kept me out of action for a few days
. Then yesterday I came down with one of my low moods again, seem to be getting them much more often lately. Possibly due to getting-old hormones, possibly due to eating too much rubbish.
I have allowed the quality of my diet to take a nosedive, I am taking too little exercise and I am getting very fat. This is depressing in itself. When I get into one of my moods, I wallow in regrets, trying to relive my entire life and even as I am doing this I know it is utterly futile.
Anyway, I've snapped out of it today, luckily these moods don't last long. Today I will be mostly weeding  with an odd :coffee: thrown in
.

I need to start doing some proper targets instead of these wishy-washy plans that don't come to anything. However first, I thought I'd do a quick summary of August:
Total debt................£10779
of which CC debt is.....£4779
Debt reduced by:.........£360
Months to DFD:..............20
Bags of rubbish taken to tip/recycling: 7
Bags of stuff to charity shop: 3
Items sold: 0
Extra income: 0
Budget savings: 50
The debt reduction amount needs to be higher and although I have room in my budget for this, I have allocated the funds to some urgent house-repair work first. In January, I expect to be able to change this and increase the debt payments. Meanwhile, I really need to concentrate on raising more funds (DDFW, I need you to give me a kick up the backside with the ebay challenge).
Will come back with proper targets for September tomorrow.0 -
Well yesterday I managed to Kondo a large number of weeds from the garden - boy did it need it! It was a glorious sunny day, really enjoyed myself out there, like the summer we should have had but didn't
.
Am currently enjoying a coffee and a square of chocolate, before getting back to work. Have a good day all.

Good afternoon all
.
It's been a busy week work-wise and I have been very tired. Not done a lot either, and have very little to report.
I am keeping well within budget this month for everything so far, and have managed to find another £50 to send to one of the CCs. That's coming down nicely but I want it to be faster.
Yesterday, I redeemed a voucher in Mr A's and while on my way back to the car I wombled two large receipts. Entered these in and have bagged myself another £4.50 worth of vouchers from their price gu@rantee. It meant my shop yielded a considerable profit, must do a bit more wombling.
It's been raining all morning but the sun has come out now. Not quite sure what I'll do with myself today, there's so much to do. Best get on with it.

I keep saying I'm going to do targets but I never do because I never seem to find time to sit down and decide on targets. So instead, I am going to do some entirely random targets based on nothing concrete whatsoever. I reckon that's better than no targets at all.
After that I will try to come up with some proper plans for the next six months or so.
May I first of all say that I am inspired by Jwil and DDFW here who are both so good and making targets and actually working towards them :T. I am shamelessly nicking some of their ideas but on a much more modest level.
SO, targets for September:- Declutter: 100 items
- Sell: 20 items
- Pay off: £50 from a CC (on top of the usual monthly payment and the extra 50 already sent)
- NSDs: 7
There are so many other things to aim for but that'll do until I get myself more organised.0 -
Brrrrr!!! What a cold day it's been, was really chilly at work today. I think summer is well and truly over
.
An update on my impromptu targets:- Declutter: 0/100 items
- Sell: 0/20 items
- Pay off: £0/£50 from a CC (on top of the usual monthly payment and the extra 50 already sent)
- NSDs: 2/7
Not exactly stellar progress but at least I haven't spent anything.
Gotta go, we haven't put on the heating yet and it's cold. Off to bed with a hot water bottle and nice hot drink :coffee:0
