Have got AVG installed and updated.

But Malwarebytes still gives "Mbam.exe – Application Error

The Malwarebytes team is aware of the issue for error 0xc000001d and are looking into the problem now and hope to have a fix soon.

In the meantime you can revert to previous MBAM 2.1.6.1022 version.

If you do revert back to the previous version, then you will need to disable "check for program updates when checking for database updates" setting if you don't want to constantly see the prompt for the new version.

This setting is located under Settings => Update Settings => Check for program updates when checking for database updates (need to uncheck that).

Have just finished a scan using AVG, it found,(and I have removed), 15 of these

Yesterday Avast found 5 serious threats, I can't remember what they where.

Is it worth me doing that? I now have AVG and Avast, maybe wait until Malawarebytes is sorted.

You should never run more than one antivirus program at the same time. The two programs could slow down your computer, and they might even identify each other as a virus, which could lead to file corruption or other conflicts and errors that make your antivirus protection less effective.

Uninstall one and have Mbam for occasional scans.

I have removed Spybot S&D and Avast, (maybe something else).

I only have on my computer now AVG 2015 and Yahoo anti spy, (Malwarebytes will be installed when available and run manually weekly). Is this sufficient?

AVG is showing Computer/Web/Identity/Email protected, Firewall requires upgrade but according to Windows Security Centre I have a Firewall. I have set up a Scheduled Scan once a week, Program update daily, Definition Update Schedule automatically.
AVG Self Protection is enabled.

Never heard of Yahoo antispy but it appears that the latest version of CA Yahoo! Anti-Spy is 2.11, released on 08/17/2009. so doubt it is very effective.Personally I would remove as soon as you install Malwarebytes again.

Since doing the above I am now unable to open PDF files stored on my computer, I have been using Foxit Reader without any problems, but now all I get is a "new tab" blank page and no info, any ideas what is causing it and how to rectify?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Foxit Reader but still it won’t open my PDF files, indeed it is now opening multiple “New Tab” pages and will not stop, I have had to remove it again to stop these pages being loaded.
