and I don't need to worry and work up my nerves whatever I will loose it/scratch it or crack it or it will loose all its value once the next model comes out

Moto G is fine if you want a moderate performing Android Handset.

If you want a high performing Android Handset then either the Note 4, S6 or G4 is the way to go.

Are people who buy high performance cars over regular cars the same with your comparison?

how exactly are they high-performing?
I can play any game on my phone without a lag , there is no lag at all when browsing the internet or anything at all, the build quality is much more durable than that of some samsung , ok they may have slightly better camera as of now, but I have my dslr for that ,thats the only real-use difference I can think ok. Do i care that your samsung has 3gb of ram and mine has only 1gb, loool... 99.999% of the time you wont be using more than that 1gb anyway.

Comparing a phone to car is just stupid, for most of the people its just a brick in a pocket you make calls with or watch cat videos.

Android is like modern versions of Windows. It caches files in the RAM to load up things faster. So the more RAM you have, the more of it, it uses and the faster it runs.

I personally find any Android handset / tablet just now with 1GB of RAM to be painfully slow (S3, Moto G, Nexus 7)

I found my Galaxy S5 to be miles faster than the Moto G (2nd gen) and my new Note 4 is quite a bit faster than my S5 (8 core processor helps)

2k screen, 4k recording and 1080p recording at 60fps are nice features and put my GoPro HD Hero 2 to shame as well.


For some people a phone is a basic thing, you're right.
For other's such as myself it's used for much more than basic features.
