Hi all,
Apologies for the post, hoping to get some advice. Been reading up a lot about this but confused.
I received a Postal Charge Notice last September for overstaying in Morrisons Car Park. At the time I just ignored it and after a few letters it went away. I have now received a few more from DRP. The latest being this:

I am probably way past appealing, I have checked my bank statements and it shows me spending £34 in Morrisons on this day! I have read up and am proposing on sending this to DRP:
Dear Sirs
Parking Charge Number xxxxxxxx
I refer to your letter of 26th June 2015, and earlier correspondence.
Firstly, I have no intention of paying the money demanded by your client, and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.
Second, should it be your client's intention to start court proceedings, they must provide a Letter Before Claim which complies with the requirements of Annex A Para 2 of the Practice Direction on Pre-action Conduct:

Please also note that a failure and/or refusal to comply with the Practice Direction will result in a complaint being made to the court and an application for a stay of the action and costs pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 4 of the Practice Direction on non-compliance and sanctions.
In the meantime, you should note that this charge is disputed, and you must now refer this matter back to your client and cease and desist all further contact with me. Failure to do so will result in a complaint to the Credit Services Association.
I trust that I have made myself clear.
Yours faithfully
My question being, is that the right thing to do and is there anything else I can/should be doing. this will be my 1st correspondence with anyone on this ticket.
Thanks, Mat

Read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES at the top of the main page here. This will tell you why you should not ignore a private parking ticket, and also why you can safely ignore debt collector letters, with a request not to tell us about them.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
complain to David Potts (CEO) or Ben at head office and insist they get the charge cancelled, enclose redacted copies of bank statements and let them know what you think about them playing BABY COME BACK by the Equals on tv when any savings made are lost due to ridiculous rules on parking whilst shopping
if the landowner is on your side and cancels it, the PPC and DRP have no chance
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5273698
and by the way IGNORE DRP , and ignore any debt collector letters, read post #4 of the NEWBIES sticky thread, and read the contact details for their head office and customer complaints0
