Sadly, Amazon UK has some crazily priced 'organic' types and some eye-watering prices for large quantities (in excess of £2,000 in one case of multiple bottles!) but no Grade C at all that I could see and certainly not in single bottles for 'real world' use.

Thank you for the link. That looks like a 'mug's premium' for 'organic' at work. I shall have to put Google to work to see if someone else has a more sensible price.

As to whether Grade C in general is worth it, the difference is that Grade A is so lightly favoured that in something like ice cream, it's adding more (unwanted) sweetness and less maple flavour, so it's probably worth tracking down the right stuff. Just not at a silly price.

They have Buckwood Maple Syrup in Waitrose for £1.33 - not the biggest bottle but I don't imagine you'd use much at a time? It was with ice cream toppings eg fudge and raspberry sauce.

I really like the Buckwood one, pay £6 in Sainsburys, lasts a while but I cannot remember the size if the bottle!! Brought a load home from Canada last time we went as well as Maple cookies!!
