MSE glitch adding to URLs

Hi, does anyone know why this is happening more frequently.
I have encountred it in the past but it was usually correctable.
Usually posting a plain link works fine & it usually happens on a "clicky" type link.
On this thread I cannot seem to post a link without the link being added to ie:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sponsored/sport/sporting-heroes/11714045/sporting-heroes-for-june.html
becomes:

That ^^^ was in Firefox via the quick reply, then edit in Enhanced mode, then edit to add the last in source mode in the post editor
May help to know:
- what browser and version you are using,
- whether you are just pasting the link straight in or using the insert link button
- What editor made you have set. i.e. Basic, standard or enhanced in your Edit Options
More detail the better, so we can try to see if we can replicate the glitch.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

That is more or less exactly what I tried with. Hmm...
Except that I'm not posting from Windows, assuming that you probably are.
One possible thing. Do you have an antivirus/internet security with a "web shield" or similar that scans/checks links etc, or otherwise messes with your browser?
I had a similar thing with Kaspersky for Android once, where it kept messing up links in a somewhat similar fashion for this site.
May well not be that, but thought I should mention it anyway just in case.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I use Kaspersky Total Security.
I am unsure re shields etc.0 -

I now see from the Error posting links thread, that it does it for me if I leave the http:// off when posting.

Also seems browser dependant. See other thread. Does it for me on Firefox, but not IE11. Allegedly also does it with Chrome.
Used to be fine for me on Firefox, so it must be somewhat recent, if not this week.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
