    The job centre might help you with job searches.

    Why can you not apply for JSA and housing benefit if you don't mind me asking

    No help. They just send me to search for a job online.
    Why can you not apply for JSA and housing benefit if you don't mind me asking
    I've been afraid that they'll take everything else from me and penalize me if I forget to tell them about any ebay sales or some other unexpected income (so I refused to go to my appointment).

    What could they take from you?
    Some small savings abroad? Small flat abroad (where I can evacuate when I fail to get any income)?

    No, flat is abroad, I'm here. If I get some from this flat it will be like £50 a month what I will spend on traveling there or related phone calls.

    Yes, it's like £1000 - not even for a month for me.
