Virgin Media Issues

Hi All,

My Virgin Media broadband connection has been uncharacteristically sluggish and prone to disconnecting. I have been on the phone to the customer care number all morning to no avail (08000521920 ), are there any better ways to resolve this issue?

    Reboot router check for outages in your area ( very relevant with current weather )

    Doesn't seem to be any issues in my area and a router reboot has not solved the problem.

    I've been having similar problems since last night. It coincided with me giving VM 30 days notice to disconnect so I initially thought the agent had messed something up. On closer inspection of my router firmware today I have noticed that it has updated to a newer firmware (V2.01.03) which has probably broken something that was working perfectly well.

    I would hazard a guess that your superhub has updated with the newer firmware too...in which case there's nothing much you can do apart from wait for them to fix the firmware.
