Tesco mobile phone on O2 ?

I'm sure that I read somewhere that "Tesco Mobile" phones as sold in the shops will work with an O2 simcard without any unlocking.

Does anybody know if this is correct ?

    Just checked and they do. I tried my O2 contract SIM in my mum's locked Nokia 1110.

    I've also heard (but don't quote me) that T-Mobile SIMs would work in Tesco phones too.
