iphone contacts not appearing?

I have an iphone 6, and despite being in my address book, a lot of names have stopped appearing when the owner texts. also the name will flash up on screen when calls are made / received, but only the number shows in the call logs.

Can any one suggest a fix? I have tried resetting the phone.
