    Hi,

I am planning on a trip to DLP at beginning of April 2014 for my daughter's birthday.

Is it cheaper to book (now) early or wait till nearer the time? Going to book flights seperate and then book one of the disneyland hotels.

What kind of discount offer are you seeing on the official dlp site for your dates at the moment?

    Hi,
We are planning to give our 4yr old a surprise treat for our first break abroad to DLP before the term starts in Sep.
as it really late n even after going through this thread...cant figure out how to remain within budget, which is £700 incl flights, stay n tickets. Can anyone please help me if I can get any last minute deals. We are flexible with the travel dates and would prefer to travel from any midlands airport.
    thanks

realistically I don't think you have any chance at all in your budget - I expect your flights alone will be over £400, transfers will be another £90, which only leaves £200 for hotel and park tickets.

    Hello Disney experts!!

We're looking to take our little girl for her b'day leaving early morning on Weds 25th September and returning Sat 28th September.

Any recommendations on the most cost effective method would be appreciated. Do we book everything separately or just buy a package? If the former, Id be grateful for some recommendations on where to source best hotel prices and best park ticket prices. I expect the train fares (thinking about doing the Eurostar) are much of a muchness...?

    Thanks in advance:)

    Everything separately.
eurostar website for travel, then probably offsite but near dlp for your 3 nights and annual passes for park tickets.
check cemultiavantages or promoparcs for annual passes and travelrepublic for hotels, to get you started.
also have a look at the official dlp site for hotel/park ticket packages but they might be fairly expensive for 3 nights.
  • Can we use debit cards if we run out of euros? Are there any atm machines ?

Yes, there are cash machines in Disneyland Park (not sure about Studios or Village though).

There is a bureau de change in Disney Village but the rates never look very favourable to be honest.

Do you have a credit card? We use ours wherever possible in DLP and don't carry much cash at all.

Yes, debit cards can be used in the atms around DLP no problem, credit cards can be widely used for purchases/restaurant bills too.
  • Thank you for your help

if 5 days is the length of time you want to go for anyway, thats a good deal and it would cost more if you booked a hotel and then park tickets separately at that time of year :).
