I seam to do everything backwards! So yeah, why not!

OK - My train from Metz arrives at Paris EST at 12:23, not sure when I will get to DLP, but thought defo no later than 2pm. The entry tickets are just so pricey though, it was £88 just for 2 of us for a day!

I mean like a take away type food?

yes, you could get takeaway burgers etc in the park, but it may be an hour or so before the end of the park day (they start closing the park counter service restaurants in the park before the park itself closes). If you wait until after Dreams finishes, that means eating in the Village - where everyone else will be heading for something to eat at the same time.

Your rides plan sounds manic ! It's good to have a plan (although we just tend to go with the flow, depending on the queues) but i think your plan is a bit ambitious for one day. Why not concentrate on the rides you don't want to miss and make sure you do those first ?

I too wouldn't want to miss the studios, Tower of Terror is our favourite ride. You can also never anticipate which rides might not be running. We've queued for rides before which have been closed whilst we've been in the queue, the RC Racer ride broke down whilst we were waiting and the Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop was also out of action, luckily we were there for 3 days so didn't miss them out.

I went a few times when it was Backwards and then when it was normal again...I thought it was much better Backwards....why not?

Is there a reason they will not do Indiana Jones Backwards again?
    Happy :)

no idea, I just know that one of my friends also loved it when they did it backwards, and she goes to DLP usually at least once a year, and they haven't run it backwards since at least 2007. My nephew rode it every day on our stay in 2008 too, and it didn't run backwards at all then either.
  • This thread has made me realise im useless lol...
Im a first timer going to DLP with my mum and my 3 year old son, we are going 14-17 March staying in the Santa Fe. All travel is booked but other than that i have no clue what to do!

My son is obsessed with Disney Junior, Do you have any suggestions on what we should do whilst there? which restaurants are a must, which of these do i need to book & how?

Hi, no not manic! :-\ Yeah, I have put down the rides DD wants to do first and these are mainly during EMH, so whilst it maybe seam 'ambitious' it's obv not set in stone!

I plan on getting a feel for the park and actually seeing if we like it or not. This trip was not planned around going to Disney, hence only going for the day. So if we were to go in future I think I may need to research the passes a little better than I did for this trip as there must be a cheaper way of doing the park entry for multiple trips etc...

Theres Playhouse Disney live shows in the Studios park, and lots of Disney Junior merchandise in the big store in the Studios park too.

My suggestions would be, go visit both parks, at different times of the day (so one morning go to the Studios park first, then go to the main park for the rest of the day, then another day do it in reverse). That way you'll see the best of both parks in one visit. Print off the current park programme from the official DLP site, and have a look at the attractions/shows and their timings (they won't change between now and when you are going).

For restaurants etc, have a look at the menus etc on DLRPMagic, see which ones might suit you best. You can't book for any of the counter service restaurants, and there are several in the Village you can't reserve in advance for too. But others you can, so if you know when and where you'd prefer to eat your table/buffet service meals, you can book those in advance by phoning the disney dining reservations line on 0033 160 304050. You're only booking tables here, not paying in advance, so apart from the cost of the phone call its a free service.
