    Great review Oaks....

We must have crossed over during our trips (we went Weds to Fri).
Probably my son banging on the wall - I had to tell him off on Friday morning for doing it.

I think we must have got lucky with the queues as we never waited longer than 20 mins for a ride, and didn't use Fast Pass at all.
Then again, there were a couple of rides, such as Crush & Parachute Drop that we decided against because of the waiting time.
The RC Racer ride also has a queue which is for "single riders", though it's not very obvious. Apparently they aren't launching that queue officially for another couple of weeks.

What is it with the Europeans and their inability to wait in a line?
I had a go at a few adults while we were waiting for rides and characters. My wife nearly got into a fight with a Portuguese woman on the bus to the hotel too....
The good thing is that the staff & characters acknowledged the kids who waited more patiently.
    ..

so, it was you all this time 'banging on the wall' lol. no worries, we were so tired at the end of the day, we wont know even if the ceiling fell on top of us.

I try to put up with some pushing and shoving as much as I can and will tolerate rude behaviours to a certain extend, after all kids will be kids and we were on holiday, but not when the adults are also misbehaving, tht gets on my nerves.
  • hiya,

thank you for your help we are going to book the 4-6th june break tomorrow, i am sorry i sound so dumb but i need some help regarding food offers?

we have been quoted roughly £100 for 2 adults 1 child (2nights) half board food is it worth it?

i am confused also as there seems to be different levels of half board where you can pay more to eat at a wider variety of places?is it worth asking/paying for the top level?

with half board do you just eat at one of the places specified and only pay for anything extra you have?

from what i can gather from reading through here and other dlp websites is that we would love to take our dd to Auberge de Cendrillon. is it worth it?do i need to upgrade to top food package or can i put the voucher towards a meal there?

and finally where else is good to eat?! sorry i am so confused!!

    Hi Pinkladez.

I thought the Auberge du Cendrillion was worth it for us. Cinderella is always there meeting and greeting, so you get a couple of minutes of nice uninterupted interaction with her on arrival. I would imagine the mice Suzy and Perla are always there, then the other princesses are pot luck day to day. When we were there we got to see Belle, Ariel and thankfully Aurora and Prince Phillip (my 3yo was desperate to see her and rather taken with him!). We would not have had such good opportunities to chat to all of them if we hadn't gone. They come round to each table. Aurora and Prince Phillip also did a little bit of dancing together. I had seen this on youtube before hand so it's easy to look it up and see what you think. As our girls are little, we didn't order meals for them, and this was no problem.

If you're after specific princesses, I got the impression Cinderella and Belle do the meet and greet that you queue for in fantasyland every morning, though I may be wrong. They do about half an hour each in turns. They had begun at least 20 mins before the advertised time and already had a growing queue so we waited about 20 mins that day and had a lovely chat with Belle. We also got photo's with Jasmine and Snow white at Stars and Cars, so all in all by the end of our five days we had met all the princesses.:) Have remembered we got a photo of the girls with Tiana and Princess Naveen too, a clean sweep!

Not sure about the half board thing, We didn't do it as I knew we wouldn't always want a full meal for the children every day. I got the impression you can put the vouchers towards more expensive meals, but someone else will fill you in there I'm sure.

One last question!! We booked out hotel through Thomas Cook and are staying off site at Val D'Europe area. We have the confirmation letter to take with us, do we pick up the entry tickets from somewhere at the park or do we get them from the hotel?

If you've booked a hotel/park tickets package, you'll get your park tickets when you check in at your hotel.
  • WOOOHOOOOOO we have booked it!

we are going to disneyland paris:j!!!

can someone please give me some help on the whole food situation!

we want to eat at auberge de cercillion (sorry havent got the book infront of me for correct spelling!) 1 evening (not sure where else the next night!) it works out as £128.00 for me dh and dd to have dinner but should we go halfboard premium or should we just pay for food normally?
i read a comment somewhere that paying by cash entitled you to unlimited wine and free photos?seems very good if true! but if you do the hb prem you dont get wine deal and you have to pay 20euros or something for photos?does anyone know any info on this?

the hb prem works out £216.00 for us for our time there (2 nights)
so technically after the auberge night we have £88 to spend the other night, would we really spend more than that on a second meal ( probably looking at a more chilled dinner chips, pizza, burger type thing! )

    any help greatly appreciated!
