no never flew with airfrance before. i know they are joined with KLM which i used few times and was not impressed...i hope they will be better...by the way, can some one guide me to the best place on line to buy disney tickets please
Not sure where you are going from but I find that Heathrow (T2) is a breeze. The check in desk is normally empty as thre are normally lots of business passengers on this flight with no luggage, they come round over and over on the flight asking if you want more drinks or biscuits... and crew always very pleasant. Where possible, I always fly with Air France to Paris. But each person has their own opinion I suppose.
I highly recommend you check out the package prices (with hotel inclusive) especially if you are thinking of booking two day passes for Disney.Happy0 -
I would be grateful for some advice from people who have traveled to Disneyland Paris on the Eurostar via Lille:
I'm due to go to Disneyland Paris on the Eurostar this Thursday via Lille (from where I catch the TGV). I was due to leave London at 6:20am, then catch the TGV at 10:06am. However, due to the Brussels disruption, the first train of the day is now 7:07am and arrives at Lille at 10:10am, meaning I will miss the 10:06am TGV.
Are the TGV tickets Eurostar issues you with only valid for the specific TGV service or are you allowed to catch the next TGV available from Lille?
Many thanks.0 -

I would have thought the ticket could be used on the later train. Best advice i could give would be to phone Eurostar and see what they say.0 -
i looked at disneyland website and bookings are taken until 1/4/2010 which is strange...we need to go mid april so what shall i do??? also is it worth it booking tickets for both parks?...are the studios interesting for 3 and 5 years old? I am worried that two days are not enough to see the main park and i dont want to pay for the studios and then not having time to see them or find them not very exciting for young kids!!!!
Hi we have just got back from a four day fantastic holiday, my little boy who is five loved the studios, in particular the car stunt show and backstage tours. There are a few rides suitable for little ones like Alladins flying carpets and this car ride, my boy was also just tall enough for the finding Nemo ride. The studios is also home to playhouse Disney live and an interactive stitch show. These are great for small children. It really depends on what you want to do and see, with two small children there will be a few rides that will not be suitable so this will cut down time needed. If you get the hopper ticket you can go from park to park, we switched parks depending on what was on like the shows and parades.0 -
We are due to go March to Sequoia Lodge, have found some interesting info, but I am trying to find out whether you can pre-book your breakfast slot time before you go? or can that only be done when you get there?
Also we have the meals vouchers included - so can we still pre-book restaurants or is there no need?
thanks0 -

Hmmm not sure, we booked ours when we got there and have had no trouble with slot times at all. I'd say it's safe to wait if your eating in the hotel only, but if your planning on also eating in a few of the other resturants it might be wise to phone up and book in advance.0 -

Thanks for your reply.
Eurostar did answer my query and I'll post it here for the benefit of others:
Bookings that include through tickets from Eurostar stations linking up with TGV and include Eurostar tickets are covered by the CIV clause, which relates to the International Conditions of Carriage.
This is an agreement between the train companies and Eurostar, which guarantees to re-accommodate passengers who have been delayed due to late running or cancelled services.
If you are delayed, please get a stamp on your ticket or ask a member of railway staff for proof that you have been delayed through no fault of your own. The next carriers will then accommodate you on the next available services. This arrangement works for both the outward and return journeys.
These conditions state that at the time of booking, a realistic amount of time must be built in to your booking to allow travellers to transfer from station to station. Please note, there is no agreement to re accommodate passengers who would turn up early enough to catch an earlier service. 0 -

we have just been to sequoia lodge and thought it was amazing, we managed to check in at about 10am and at check in we were given our meal vouchers and were asked wether we wanted to book breakfast slots or not and they give you a little card with a time on, i would advise doing this then because we found the que's were alittle long if you had to wait.
i would also advise trying the food in hunters grill in the evening, we found 1 night we stayed and watched the parade in the park and booked an evening meal( all you can eat buffet) for about 7pm and then still had time to go for a swim afterwards as this didnt shut till 10pm.
the staff at sequoia lodge were very helpful and understood our english quite easily. plus pluto was in reception eveery morning to great people so have your camera ready.
if you have any questions just ask.0 -
