  • I am off to DLP on Monday.
Driving all the way to Hotel Cheyenne.

Does anyone know how I can find the co-ordinates for Hotel Cheyenne in order to put into my Sat Nav?

Last few times I have driven there, I borrowed a friends sat nav, and he had it all set up aready - only problem is, he can't remember how he did it!!

I have my own European sat nav now, and can't for the life of me work out how its done!

Its a TomTom One by the way.

Try using the coords at http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=bd4d156d-6f1c-4bd7-ac0c-5524232de12a
They are for Disneys front gate but should be close enough & you can even try out geocaching if you're up for it! There are a couple of other 'real' caches close by (one in the park at Adventureland).
I'm driving to The Cheyenne in mid March so let me know how you got on when you return. We're driving straight to Paris to spend a couple of hours then on to the hotel in the evening.
Hope the weather warms up a bit for you.
  • Sorry- just realised you need to be logged in to see any coords
    Try Normal GPS Coordinates (WGS84 Datum)Decimal48.8709 2.7786DDD MM.MMMN 48° 52.254 E 002° 46.716DDD MM SS.SSSN 48° 52' 15.2400" E 2° 46' 42.9600"

Not sure how you need it for a tomtom being a map only girl
  • Thanks for all the advice.

I just found the Longtitude/Latitude co-ordinates for Hotel Cheyenne from wikipedia.

Then found the part on my TomTom that lets you put the co-ordinates in, and surprise surprise it seems to have worked.

Will just have to wait and see on Monday when we travel how exact those co-ordinates are !!

    cheers

Hi does anyone know how long it takes sally savage to reply. I emailed her over the weekend and had a standard reply from her mail box but thought she might have dropped me a line by now too. Maybe I am being too impatient...

    Thanks

    Jo

Sally is back in the hot seat today, give her a call or email....

  • I asked MSE to get this thread as a sticky, and they refused !!
Why it would be such a hardship to them I really don't know !!??

They said its always up near the front anyway, so its as good as a sticky already.
I told them that sometimes it slinks down to the 4th or 5th pages and can be a pain to find, but that was a week ago, and they still haven't replied.

There are other things that are Stickys that hardly get looked at, and certainly nowhere near as popular as this thread.

Maybe it might help if a few of you request the same thing......

Go on, give it a go !!

  • Hi all - I've been reading this thread all morning and thought I'd bite the bullet and post. I've got Tesco Clubcard vouchers that I need to redeem and would love to take DD to Disneyland Paris. Worked out I can do this with Air Miles and going on the Eurostar. Phoned for costings and its going to be 3,700 miles (which is about £160 in clubcard points which I already have) and then an extra £571 for 3 days and 2 nights. This is staying in the Newport Hotel in Eurodisney in September - forgot to ask though if it includes the park tickets!! Travel would be on Eurostar with a table and four seats (DH, DD, Baby and myself) I need to use the Tesco vouchers as they are coming to an end. Do you think this is good value or should I look elsewhere? . TIA x

In my opinion, Newport is a waste of money.
You are paying for extras like swimming pools, etc... that you will most probably never use, as you will probably be in the Parks from 9am to 9pm !

Save some cash, and stay at Cheyenne.
Its just as nice, but without a Pool !!

If you drive instead, you can exchange Tesco Vouchers for Eurotunnel.

Also, someone told me you can book Disneyland Paris with Tesco Vouchers via French Life....
    http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=143

But I have never checked this out myself - it might be worth contacting them...

    OR
maybe try this contact of mine for a great deal...

    Good Luck !!

If every "popular" thread was made a sticky then there would be 2 pages full of stickies. There will be good reasons why your request was refused so it won't help if other people start requesting the same thing.

If you are having problems finding the thread all you need to do is put Disneyland Paris into "search this forum" and it will be there.
